I remember an artist talk I went to years ago. He said whenever he was starting a new body of work he emptied out his studio, painted it white, and sat in the middle the room. He would sit there until inspiration for his next body of work revealed itself to him.
I did this in my own studio two years ago. I sat in my studio and did nothing for almost two months.
Then I started listening to the Gayatri Mantra while sitting in my studio. And, then I started painting.
A selection of these paintings is featured above. I am on number 67; there will be 108 paintings in total. All are 12" x 12", acrylic and glazing on wood panel.
